Translate my experience for a different industry

Changing sector and your CV reads as insider language nobody there recognises.

I am moving from one field to another. Translate my experience so a hiring manager in the target field understands it.

1. List the terms, tools, titles and metrics in my CV that would mean nothing, or the wrong thing, outside my current field.
2. For each, give the closest honest equivalent in the target field. Where there is no equivalent, say so and describe the work in plain language instead of forcing a false match.
3. Rewrite my three strongest bullets in the target field's vocabulary, without changing what actually happened.
4. Name the two or three things from my background that are genuinely rare and valuable in the target field, and would be underplayed if I just translated word for word.
5. Name the real gaps a hiring manager there will spot. Do not disguise them.
