Is this a real problem or just my taste?
Before sending design feedback that might be preference dressed as principle.
Sort every point in my design feedback into two lists: things that will genuinely cost a user something, and things that are my preference stated as a rule. For the first list, give the fix. For the second, say so plainly so I can drop it before I send this. My feedback:
Making it yours
- Paste your own material where the prompt asks for it. Everything above that line is instruction, not content.
- Delete any rule that does not apply to you. A shorter prompt that fits beats a thorough one that does not.
- If the answer comes back vague, add a line saying what you do not want. Constraints work better than encouragement.
Critique and review. Passes over a finished screen: design critique, heuristics, accessibility and contrast checks.
