Plan a half-day workshop
Facilitating a longer session and needing a minute-by-minute plan.
Plan a workshop for the objective below. Produce a run sheet with: time, activity, format (solo, pairs, whole group), who leads, and the specific output of each block. No block may exist without an output. Also include: 1. The opening, covering why we are here and what we will leave with. 2. Energy management: where the room will flag, and what breaks or format changes prevent it. 3. Materials and preparation needed, listed so I can check them the day before. 4. The closing: how decisions and actions get captured before anyone leaves the room. 5. A contingency for the two most likely failures: the discussion that will not end, and an activity that produces nothing. Tell me plainly if the objective is too large for the time available. Making it yours
- Paste your own material where the prompt asks for it. Everything above that line is instruction, not content.
- Delete any rule that does not apply to you. A shorter prompt that fits beats a thorough one that does not.
- If the answer comes back vague, add a line saying what you do not want. Constraints work better than encouragement.
Before and during. Agendas, pre-reads, prep for a 1:1 or an exec slot, and plans for retros and workshops.
