Competitive analysis that is not a feature table

When you need to understand a rival's strategy, not just their pricing page.

Longcompetitivestrategymarket
Analyse this competitor. I do not want a feature comparison.

1. **Who they are built for.** The customer they serve best, inferred from their pricing, onboarding, and what they emphasise.
2. **Their actual bet.** What do they believe about the market that we do not?
3. **Structural strengths**: what is hard to copy because of how they are set up, not because of a feature.
4. **Structural weaknesses**: what can they not do without contradicting their own positioning or pricing?
5. **Where we genuinely lose to them**, stated bluntly.
6. **The customer we should not try to win** because they are a better fit there.

Separate what you can see in public evidence from what you are inferring. Label inferences as inferences.

Making it yours

  • Paste your own material where the prompt asks for it. Everything above that line is instruction, not content.
  • Delete any rule that does not apply to you. A shorter prompt that fits beats a thorough one that does not.
  • If the answer comes back vague, add a line saying what you do not want. Constraints work better than encouragement.

Comparing options. Weighing real candidates against your criteria, from a quick side-by-side to a full vendor evaluation.
