Two places on the shortlist and no way to separate them.

I am choosing between two destinations for the same trip. Do not give me a balanced summary. I want a recommendation.

1. Ask me nothing yet. First tell me what you think the real difference between these two is, in one paragraph.
2. Compare them only on the dimensions that matter for my stated trip: effort to get there, cost shape, weather in my window, how much planning is required, and what the trip feels like day to day.
3. Name what I would be giving up by choosing each one.
4. Tell me which one to pick, and the single condition under which the other becomes correct.

Be honest about what you cannot know: seasonal events, current conditions, and anything about prices or flight routes. Flag those as things I should check rather than guessing.
