Fix the rhythm of this paragraph
A passage that is technically correct but tiring to read aloud.

The prose below is correct but reads badly. Work on the sound of it. Diagnose first: - Sentence lengths in order, as a list of numbers. Flag any run of three or more similar lengths. - Sentences that all open the same way, or all use the same construction. - Repeated words and sounds within a few lines. - Long subordinate clauses that delay the verb. - Places where the stress lands on a weak word at the end of a sentence. Then rewrite, varying the length deliberately. Put a short sentence after a long one when a point needs to land. Show the before and after of the three sentences you changed most, and say what each change does. Text:
Making it yours
- Paste your own material where the prompt asks for it. Everything above that line is instruction, not content.
- Delete any rule that does not apply to you. A shorter prompt that fits beats a thorough one that does not.
- If the answer comes back vague, add a line saying what you do not want. Constraints work better than encouragement.
