Summarise a thread I have been added to late
Forty messages deep, and you have just been copied in.
Summarise the thread below for someone joining now. Cover: what is being decided, who holds which position, what has already been agreed, what is still open, and what is being asked of me specifically. Separate decisions from opinions — a long thread makes the loudest view look like the conclusion. Note where people are talking past each other, if they are. Under 250 words, then one line on what my reply should do. Thread:

- Paste your own material where the prompt asks for it. Everything above that line is instruction, not content.
- Delete any rule that does not apply to you. A shorter prompt that fits beats a thorough one that does not.
