Find who was not heard in this meeting

Reviewing a transcript of a meeting you ran, to check the room actually worked.

Longfacilitationtranscriptteam
Analyse the participation in this transcript. I ran the meeting and want an honest read.

1. Roughly how much each person spoke, and on which topics.
2. Who was present but contributed little or nothing, and whether they were ever directly invited to.
3. Points that were raised, not engaged with, and then dropped. Say who raised each one.
4. Points raised by one person and later restated by another who received the credit.
5. Where I, as the facilitator, closed a topic too early or answered my own question.
6. Three specific things I should do differently next time, as facilitation moves rather than intentions.

Be direct. A comfortable answer here is useless to me.

Transcript:

Making it yours

  • Paste your own material where the prompt asks for it. Everything above that line is instruction, not content.
  • Delete any rule that does not apply to you. A shorter prompt that fits beats a thorough one that does not.
  • If the answer comes back vague, add a line saying what you do not want. Constraints work better than encouragement.

Summaries and transcripts. Long recordings and calls compressed down, including what a flat summary would hide.
