Map these columns to CRM fields before importing
A spreadsheet from a trade show or an old system that has to land in the CRM without wrecking it.
Map the spreadsheet columns below to the target CRM fields. For each column give: the target field, the object it belongs on, the transformation needed (splitting a full name, normalising a country, parsing a date format), and what to do with rows where the value will not fit the picklist. Call out separately: columns with no sensible target, columns that would overwrite better data already in the CRM, and anything that should become a note rather than a field. Making it yours
- Paste your own material where the prompt asks for it. Everything above that line is instruction, not content.
- Delete any rule that does not apply to you. A shorter prompt that fits beats a thorough one that does not.
