Decide which value survives a merge
Two records for the same company that disagree on half their fields.
Two records are being merged. For each field where they disagree, decide which value survives. Prefer: the more recently verified value, the one with a source, the more specific one, and the one consistent with other records for the same account. Where recency and reliability conflict, say so rather than picking silently. Return a field-by-field table with the winning value and a one-line reason. List separately any field a person must decide, and anything that should be kept as a note rather than lost. Records:
