Write a data deletion request
Closing an account properly rather than just letting it sit dormant.
Write a data deletion request to the service below. Include: the account identifier, that I am asking for erasure of personal data rather than only account closure, a request for confirmation of what was deleted and what is retained, and a question about anything they are legally required to keep and for how long. Under 150 words. Firm and polite, no legal threats. If I am in a jurisdiction with a specific right to erasure, cite it plainly in one clause rather than quoting statute at them. Add a short note afterwards on what to keep a copy of before sending. Service and account details:
