Work out what to save before closing an account
The step people skip, and regret a week later.
For the service below, work out what I should export before closing the account. Cover: content I created, records I may need later (invoices, warranties, order history), anything others depend on (shared links, published pages), and identity artefacts like the account being used to log in elsewhere. For each: why it matters, how long it stays available after closure if the terms say, and the format worth exporting it in. End with the order to do it in, and the one thing that becomes unrecoverable the moment the account closes. Service:
Making it yours
- Paste your own material where the prompt asks for it. Everything above that line is instruction, not content.
