Decide which newsletters actually earn their place
A hundred subscriptions where you genuinely read about four.
From the newsletters below, sort into keep, unsubscribe, and unsure. Judge by frequency against usefulness: something arriving daily that I open monthly is costing more attention than it returns. Note anything arriving more often than it did when I signed up. For "unsubscribe", group them so I can do it in one sitting, and flag any that will need account deletion rather than an unsubscribe link because they will simply resubscribe me. For "unsure", say what would settle it. Newsletters:
Making it yours
- Paste your own material where the prompt asks for it. Everything above that line is instruction, not content.
- Delete any rule that does not apply to you. A shorter prompt that fits beats a thorough one that does not.
- If the answer comes back vague, add a line saying what you do not want. Constraints work better than encouragement.
Cleanup and closing. Dormant accounts, dead newsletters, and getting data deleted rather than just unsubscribing.
