Find the deals that are quietly dead
A pipeline export where some deals have not moved in months but nobody has closed them.
Below is a pipeline export. Identify which deals are realistically dead and which are genuinely still alive. For each deal, weigh: 1. Days since the stage last changed, against the normal cycle length for that stage. 2. Days since the last logged activity, and whether the last contact came from us or from them. 3. Whether the close date has been pushed, and how many times. 4. Whether the amount or stage has changed at all since creation. Return three groups: Likely dead, Needs a decision this week, Genuinely progressing. For each deal give one sentence of evidence from the data, not a guess about intent. Do not recommend "following up" as an action. Say what the specific next step is, or say the deal should be closed lost and why. Pipeline:
Making it yours
- Paste your own material where the prompt asks for it. Everything above that line is instruction, not content.
- Delete any rule that does not apply to you. A shorter prompt that fits beats a thorough one that does not.
- If the answer comes back vague, add a line saying what you do not want. Constraints work better than encouragement.
Pipeline and deals. Working out which deals are real, what is actually blocking them, and what to do next week.
